Delights for the Glen Nature Arts n Craft show 11/21-22

Hi y'all,

I really should be making/creating but will post a short note and show one of the goodies I'll have at the Nature Arts and Craft Show at Glen Helen this w.e. I'll have lots of lovely little purses, fabric birds (whimsical) and - of course - Watercolors, prints and cards. I'll also have the book that I made with Raymond Ruka - The Family Tree of the Rainbow.

I'll be sharing a table with Theresa and her beautiful glass lampwork beads again.

New Inspirations

Visited California and hiked 4 days in Central/Eastern wilderness (with a bed each night!) Granite Cheif and Desolation Wilderness areas and Yuba River...glorious scenery. Look for some of it in my paintings - in the works...

Well, kids return to school soon - time to start giving more time to creating. I will be at the Glen Helen Nature Arts and Craft show again this year - w.e. before Thanksgiving -

Mills Lawn Literacy Mural

As you enter Mills Lawn Elementary, you are often delighted by the children's creations which teachers, especially Becky Brunsman, hang in the entry. Looking up, you will also spy a mural which I painted for the school. It is full of visual snippets of children enjoying books, images from books and a promise that all MLS students will be good readers... Please stop by the school some time to visit the mural. Enjoy!
