Just Paint it...

I try to exercise every day...now I need to make the pledge to paint every day... I've got an interesting invite ART-wise that I need to do more research on, see if it fits in my plan.  so - off to paint, procrastinate on organizing the house - blah.

I scrambled to put together 3 pieces for the Glen Helen Member Show - please come by to see the lovely work in this group exhibit.  The reception is sunday, Jan. 9, 2-4pm. Here is a sneak preview of one of my paintings - The Climbing Tree.  It is a favorite of my children (who call it Gloria) and of many school and summer campers.

"Flower Power" at the Emporium

Come see beautiful flower-oriented art at the Emporium/Underdog Cafe in Y.S, through January.  We're doing a reception this coming saturday from 5-7pm.  If you'd like, bring a canned good to donate to the local food pantry

Handmade delights at EcoMental

I made lots of little ornaments for the tree - painted and spangled with beads, fabric birds to cheer up your space (that I sold at the Glen Helen show) and beaded pins for your winter coat or dress, that are now for sale at EcoMental on Main St. here in Yellow Springs. Come on down to see them - not too pricey. CJ and Nancy have graciously set up a space for local crafts people to share their wares - Theresa has her beads there too : )

well, I'd say the show was a success though I still need to work on developing new beautiful goods that are COMPLETELY irresistible! I was very happy with the giclee I had made of my Owlets painting...true color!
